Another Book Reviewed
My review for a book titled How To Crush Social Media In Only 2 Minutes A Day... by Ndeye Labadens.
Although
it seems that final editing, formatting and proofreading has not been done yet, I
read this book and my review is as follows…
This book
is well written and filled with enough knowledge related to all things within
social media circles. The author definitely did some deep researching regarding
social media platforms and how to utilize them correctly for marketing,
promotional and purposes of “getting above the crowd” when it came to placing
yourself out there with your books as an author. This book is filled with plenty
of well written guidelines and explanatory wording which will assist any author
to become “visible” on social media and to get doors “opened” when it comes to
marketing yourself as an author or to promote all your works completed and
published.
I give
this book a 5 star rating and it is truly worth the read. Even I discovered
areas where I can improve my marketing and other methods and strategies which I
could use to improve my own visibility on the world wide web; mainly using
social media platforms at a greater advantage, and to my own gain. It is filled
with knowledge and great social media wisdom like I have never seen before. This
book guides you through all the do’s and don’ts of most of the popular social
media platforms used in today’s modern “online societies”. Well done Ndeye
Labadens. Truly remarkable!
That's it folks. Enjoy!

Mistakes To Avoid When Writing
Authors enjoy writing, yet many mistakes come out of the pages, especially the self-publishing gents and ladies. We try to edit, proofread and do everything ourselves. I agree, there are those that are talented enough to perform such tasks, and they are truly great at it. Still, odd mistakes do pop up every so often. Here are some to remember when you write your next book...
1] Apart vs. a part, affect vs. effect. These are known as usage mistakes. There are many more not mentioned here else my post will be too long, like assure vs.ensure. One must be able to distinguish between words and phrases used. This will affect how your sentences turn out; either well written or shabby.
2] Next, one gets grammar mistakes. An example is "this is him/this is her". Let me offer you what I'm stating here... Incorrect - "Can I speak to John please. This is him." vs. Correct - "Can I speak to John please. This is he." There are many more out there. Another example is the following - If I was vs. if I were. The example is, "I wish I was rich." [Incorrect], and then we get "I wish I were rich." [correct]. Do you get it?
These are some of the areas one must watch out for dumb mistakes when writing your next book. Even proofreaders slip up at times. One must double check, and again double check. make sure that when you are reading your book before publishing it, such mistakes are discovered and resolved. One does not want a blemished book on the shelves.
3] Another mistake made often is the punctuation mistake. Placing commas, hyphens or semicolons in the wrong places can change the "shape" of your sentence. "Together we saw a great movie; it was a box office hit." and not "...; which was a box office hit." Can you see the difference, even the sound when reading it? What about this - "After he hit the ball he ran to first base." Wrong! Correct is "after he hit the ball, he ran to first base." Do you get it?
Simple mistakes can cost you in your reviews, in your sales, and how other people see you out there; either a good author or just another wannabe. So, sit back and start to reread the book you are currently writing. Take a deep breath and search for such silly mistakes. They are costly! have fun and be blessed.

Another Book Review
Another review - "How To Unlock
Your Inner Drive" by Jeremy E. McNally.
A book authored by a great motivational speaker,
written from what he experienced in his own life, driving himself to be
successful and always motivated for success. This book is a great read as it
motivates you as you turn the pages, understanding what drives you to success.
It offers you strategies which drive you to transform your own life and lead it
into a new successful future; and a renewed and transformed life.
The more I read the more I was hungry to seek my inner
drive to be transformed for greater success. The deeper you go into each
chapter, you start to seek that new drive. This book offers great insight which
motivates you and pushes you in the right direction, driving your inner being
to understand success and what you can do to motivate yourself for greatness.
I give this book a 5 star rating. It is well written
and easy to follow and understand what Jeremy is trying to bring across. A
fantastic motivational book with plenty of scope and meaning to drive you to
success. Find it on Amazon.

new step into my writing and publishing of all my future books. A very
insightful read for sure, and exciting as you delve deeper into each chapter. I
